I’m figuring that the Neocon plan was to give up territory as slowly as possible in Donbass in order to keep it out of the news, which is possible if no major cities are taken (note the near-silence of the media regarding Ukraine in the past month or so). A Russian victory in the former Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia is inevitable, as the aforementioned oblasts voted in referendum to rejoin the Russian Federation, the inhabitants are ethnically Russian, and the Russians are fighting NATO from a defensive position, protected by a plethora of minefields.
This is a war that NATO could never have won, so it is of no consequence if they concede defeat prior to the US Presidential Selection, or following.
I also suspect that you are correct. At this point, however, and at this speed, it really looks like Ukraïne might capitulate by 31 August, or 30 September. President Zelenskiy shows no sign of even lifting his own decree against negotiations, even if he says that Russia could attend the next “Peace Conference”, so I would argue that the outcome clearly can only be military.

Pretty sure Walz was inserted into timeline a couple days ago and didn’t actually exist before then. Why would Iran want to retaliate for the assassination of Ismail Haniya, who was obviously a double agent for Israel/USA, as he publicly supported the head choppers of the ISIS (Israeli Secret Intelligence Service), in their war of terror against the Syrian state and Bashar al-Assad.

Read an article today which stated that Iran is deliberately drawing out the possibility of an attack because it is crippling Israel financially. Investors have pulled out of lots of Israeli companies (who wants to invest in a company that could be blown to bits any day?), key workers are leaving (possibly temporarily but could be for good), the Israeli stock exchange has plummeted, the northern part of Israel is empty and farms are non-productive. This a very interesting perspective. I also feel that the Islamic Republic of Iran is achieving more by taking its time. Just the news that Israël’s leadership is currently hiding in bunkers could be scoring important psychological points. One important move might be for Iran to call for an urgent meeting of the UN General Assembly and to make a motion to condemn Israël for its belligerent provocations, and then simultaneously to make another motion to establish a Palestinian State once and for all. The Persian insidious economic attrition warfare on Israel, will certainly be more detrimental to Israel in the long haul, than another ineffectual drone and missile strike on Israel.

I heard that the Harris/Walz appearance among hundreds of cheering people was fake. The audience has been checked with a fine tooth comb and it appears that 5% of the delegates were real and 95% were CGI, and it was apparently not terribly well done as they were easy to spot.
