I disagree with Mr Mercouris. Certainly there will be negotiations, but they will be entirely on Iran’s terms. Just as the Ukraine situation will be resolved on Russia’s terms. Iran has suffered terribly, but the Iranians can and will outlast the USA and its vassals. Either the Americans vacate all their bases in West Asia, or Iran will pulverise them. One way or another the Americans will be gone.

Trump has shown NATO partners to be unreliable or irrelevant in the event of war. From now on, when Europeans and neocons ask the U.S. to give money or weapons to Ukraine the answer will be in kind.
