You just started and you’ve already lost me when you declare that “the U.S. was taken by surprise by the Japanese attack.” If you believe that, then you need to forget about trying to tell us “about everything” and go back and study some more. FDR, Hull, Stark, et al, had been trying to find a way to get Japan to attack them for at several years prior to Pearl Harbor and had made that desire known to the Pacific command, they had already broken the Japanese coded messages, they knew that the Japanese fleet had steamed out of Tokyo… Read more »

Pono (no name) has his own set of values he brings to the subject.
I like that he mentions the private public conflict, the strength of nazi influence, favouring rightest govts and a war against even a slightly left govt like the Scandinavians.
To resolve these issues is crucial for a future civilisation that welcomes the diversity and potential of humanity.
