It is pretty obvious that the state seeks to “assassinate” Assange, be it his character through using the media, or harming the WikiLeaks founder directly.
WikiLeaks founder and journalist Julian Assange appeared in court to fight his extradition to the United States, sluggishly reciting his name and date of birth in a zombie-like state — displaying signs of either sleep deprivation, torture or poisoning — but quickly recovered to state the rigged case against him to the judge when he was asked if he understood what he was facing.
Assange responded, appearing to fight back tears at his case management hearing, “I can’t think properly, I don’t understand how this is equitable. This superpower had 10 years to prepare for this case and I can’t access my writings. It’s very difficult where I am to do anything but these people have unlimited resources.” The WikiLeaks Founder added, “They are saying journalists and whistleblowers are enemies of the people. They have unfair advantages dealing with documents. They know the interior of my life with my psychologist. They steal my children’s DNA. This is not equitable what is happening here?”

As a european I am ashamed and if I was australian I would be even more ashamed !
I have never seen a country, faced with a clear case of a national citizen being wrongly jailed for having performed his professional duty, that does not protest or denounce the facts to the Court of Human Rights . It is a terrible shame that will be stygmatized by history in a perpetual condamnation.
The sadness that surrounds this travesty of justice is insurmountable as all concerned from the UK lap dog assistance to the out of control in its manic approach to both sully and destroy any witness to US war crimes and the total apathy of Australians to turn their collective back on a battler for truth is not only criminal but farcical … The Primary reason for extradition is because of a political situation which is negated under UK law as the US has been shown to commit crimes against humanity and perform extra judicial murders without being accountable judicially to… Read more »
