Most people are more likely to wind up six feet under because of almost anything else under the sun other than COVID-19.

The CDC just came out with a report that should be earth-shattering to the narrative of the political class, yet it will go into the thick pile of vital data and information about the virus that is not getting out to the public. For the first time, the CDC has attempted to offer a real estimate of the overall death rate for COVID-19, and under its most likely scenario, the number is 0.26 percent. Officials estimate a 0.4 percent fatality rate among those who are symptomatic and project a 35 percent rate of asymptomatic cases among those infected, which drops the overall infection fatality rate (IFR) to just 0.26 percent — almost exactly where Stanford researchers pegged it a month ago.

This article should be ignored. Its author says and links to his source at “The CDC just came out with a report” and his linked-to source there (from the CDC) fails to state its methodology, and it (the CDC source) says “Parameter values are based on data received by CDC prior to 4/29/2020,” which was April 29th, when the number of U.S. cases was already 1,035,396, and deaths were 59,246, which was already a death-rate of 5.7%, but the CDC’s report is projecting death-rates far below 1%, and not providing their underlying assumptions and the data upon which their assumptions… Read more »

Having practiced medicine for the past 30 years, i can say the fatality rate of this virus is NOT greater than 0.2%. Just because you have “cases” numbers for + tests, this does NOT represent the total infected. The infected are likely 10 TIMES the number of reported positives. See the most recent study from American Journal of Epidemiology, May 27, 2020. Also, the media are LYING to you about Hydroxychloroquine. (again, I refer you to the aforementioned article as it looked at 300,000 patients treated and discusses the extremely low incidence of any cardiac side effects.). I have prescribed… Read more »
