Afghanistan mirrors US evil acts, contrasting China’s goodwill: Global Times editorial

The pain that the US brought to Afghanistan has ended, and a new page is unfolding in the country. It is still uncertain whether there will be a civil war or a reconciliation in Afghanistan, and it is also uncertain what will bring the country together from a mess.

China urges Taliban to denounce terrorism

The situation in Afghanistan is getting more and more complicated as both the Afghan government and the Taliban, which are fighting each other, are making diplomatic efforts to win support or understanding overseas as the US and its allies leave a huge mess in the country and in the region, and China is paying efforts to stabilize the situation and prevent any potential crisis that could impact regional security.

Beware friends bearing gifts, esp. the Taliban sort. Or in a pinch, deploy Reagan’s famous saying that he plagiarized from the ancient Russian saying: ‘doverai no proverai’. Trust but verify.

Who is the Taliban? They were created by Pakistan with US/CIA funding by recruiting from Madrasa schools in Pakistan to bring Afghanistan under a single ruling government. It really amazes me, that people have already forgotten all the above. No wonder the World is in such a mess, if they don’t pay attention to what is going on around them. I wish the Afghan people all the best and hope they can salvage something from the mess NATO and the U.S. has done to their country. Or at least, one would like to think so.

Then again, the wild card is how the US could still manage to screw it all up, considering a good many Americans can’t differentiate between a turban wearing Sikh and an al Qaeda terrorist. I assume a good many in Congress share that defect.

Defective or not, America will still try to ‘militarize’ the Taliban to their own purpose.

Remiss not to mention the impending (oxymoron) civil war.
Turkey recruiting Syrian mercenaries to guard Kabul airport to protect CIA heroin export to fund blackops.
The Taliban didn’t win. They had the time on their side. The others were looking at their watches.

Given Turkish traits, I assume they’ll be doing their best to monetize the heroin trade.
