The chance of Ukraine joining the EU will depend mainly on what Russia does IE take over all of the Ukraine, and I can see them doing that, if only to scotch any chance of the Ukies entering the EU, besides I think after the debacle over the US lead sanctions, I can’t see the EU being capable of absorbing a state that will be dependant on EU cash to keep it going, something that is sadly lacking to the present EU states as it is, no!! Ukraine will not be a candidate for the EU any time soon.
