Forest fire could easily drive the Ukraine Army forest dwellers into hastily constructed POW welcoming centers. One wonders, with the number of forest fire conflagrations happening currently around the world, the ease at which forests burn, if the weakly defended lines that Ukraine army over-ran weren’t a baited trap. The Ukrainians have fallen for this baited trap in the past. But, please, pretty please, have sufficient fire extinguishing crews ready to limit destruction to the absolute minimum. My heart still aches at the thought of that poor koala bear standing on a burning forest floor with nowhere to go.
