The EU countries are thinking about when the war ends, and they will want to normalize relations with Russia to obtain cheap energy. Russia will remember every single petty little thing the EU countries did during the war and tell them to pound sand.
I hear the Sahara desert is selling sand at bargain prices now.
As has been discussed here and elsewhere ad nauseam, the EU countries are puppets of the USA and take orders from it, and the Kremlin knows this perfectly well, so it’s foolish to expect these petty decisions to have been done without the USA’s influence.

Woah! The US Defence Budgets are mind boggling. The Air Force want $217.5bn for 2025. That’s $188.1bn for the Airforce and $29.4bn for the Space Force (Rockets are cheaper than Airplanes? Get outta here! Mind you, the repair cost alone for the F range of planes is gargantuan). The Russian people are going to really enjoy watching the European countries become destitute due to the lack of cheap Russian gas, and probably wheat, etc.
And watching skilled Germans move to Russia.
All caused by the USA, as Michael Hudson perfectly illustrates. If I were Russian, I wouldn’t be so naive as to see pleasure in watching such an injustice at play.
