It had to be, as the Drones would have been using the United States Global Positioning System to target Putin residence.
Incidentally, I doubt if Donald Trump was even aware of the plan to attack Putin residence, as I am sure the CIA would have kept him out of the loop, in their attempt to sabotage the peace talks.

Based on your information, Alexander, I now suspect that Russia will engage first Kramatorsk, then Kyiv, almost simultaneously (at a three day interval, for example), in order to push Pres. Zelenskiy to commit his troops to the first position, and then force Zelenskiy to redeploy all his forces to the capital. The Russian army could then withdraw its columns of tanks from Kyiv, but, by then, the Kramatorsk defence would have been overwhelmed faster. This is speculation, but it’s based on recent commentaries about the speed of Russia’s progress.
