According to British former MP Andrew Bridgen, the Ukrainian arson trio may have been doing intelligence work for Andriy Portnov, who was assassinated in Spain shortly after their arrest. Did the trio rat Portnov out to British counter-intelligence? Bridgen further implied that Portnov’s intelligence gathering was an attempt to sabotage the UK’s grooming of Zaluzhnyi as the next leader of Ukraine. If the Portnov connection is true, then the arson allegations are a complete smoke screen.
