I think it’s important to realize, when talking about Germany, that there is a big difference between the German people and their government, which is still under US occupation and does as told. Rt understands that when “RT blamed the Merkel Regime for it and they predictable lied.” Merkel was a true handmaiden of the US regime, ever so obedient and supine. Merkel is gone, but sadly, her replacement seems to be following in her footsteps. Evil, but it goes to show they are struggling with their backs against the wall. How profound isa their fear of the free flow of information, if they have to supres it wit hevery means. Their hours are counted. I.E.
The German elites don’t want the Germans to have an alternative point of view then the established narrative or should i rather say the controlled explanation, presented to them by the same elites. In other words, the Germans will only listen to what the German elites consider to be important to them to know and hopefully they will believe the propaganda that they feed them. It’s just like in the Soviet Union or DDR, in the late 80’s every one knows that the emperor is naked but the show must go on.
I always look for the silver lining behind every dark cloud. I was born and grew up in Germany, and find that the Germans are, by and large, not stupid people. Education is valued VERY highly, and almost all educated people speak or at least understand English, and often some other European languages in addition. Facebook, ugly as it is, has established bridges of communication worldwide. Now prohibiting RT in Germany is almost like a free million dollar advertisement for “what is it they don’t want us to know?” It doesn’t mean that facts printed by RT will be inaccessible… Read more »
RT German Language is NOT licensed in Germany. It is licensed in Serbia, and takes advantage of an European convention which does nor allow cross-border TV and and radio transmissions to be interfered with. As Serbia is quite friendly with Russia, it is highly unlikely for the license to be revoked (under the current Serbian government).
