On this one I agree with Alexander. I think Erdogan did the right thing. My only question is why he did the right thing. Is it to help the many, many, poor who will be indebted due to out-of-control inflation and may lose everything they own? Is it to get re-elected by the the many, the very poor, as the rich won’t re-elect him anyway? Hello everyone, here’s a few questions. Could one possible explanation be that, in order to make up for the turmoil caused by his monetary policy, Erdogan in secretly counting on a breakthrough like for instance a boosted development of SCO/EAEU trade networks to come soon? Like most people, I seldom like Erdogan as a character, as a politician, as a person. But this is so odd I tried to play devil’s advocate. Could he have an ace up his sleeve of this kind?
