Scott says the drone attacks coming from Ukraine are seriously affecting Russian oil production, and Russia will not allow this to continue. Russia has already warned several times that it will take out Kiev if this goes on, and Karaganov has advocated use of nuclear weapons on European countries such as the UK and Poland which are allowing their countries to be used for such attacks or are helping target them. Ray disagrees, saying the immediate warnings were about the May 9 parade, not oil production facilities, and thinks there will be no immediate Russian strike. Neither China nor Russia want this, and nor do they want a continuation of the Iran war. They will both try to prevail on Trump to disassociate himself from both Israel and Europe. Will Trump listen? Scott doesn’t think so; Ray is more hopeful.
