Ray McGovern: Trump Told Bibi to Pound Sand

The weekly intelligence roundtable with Larry Johnson and Ray McGovern features a disagreement between them about the likelihood of a US attack on Iran. Ray says the hasty trip of Netanyahu to meet Trump in Washington was a complete failure. Trump clearly rebuffed Bibi’s demand for the US to attack Iran. He would like to do some kind of quick in-and-out operation like he did in Venezuela, but many voices, including the Russians and the Chinese, are warning that he can’t do this with Iran and it would be a disaster. Ray has also said the the release of the Epstein files is not as big a threat as it could be, because they are already out there. So he predicts Trump will break with the Zionists and not attack Iran.

Larry, on the other hand, thinks that the Israel Lobby is putting enormous pressure on Trump to attack, that there are many idiots in senior positions like General Keene that really believe such an attack will succeed, and Trump may not be able to prevent them from doing something to get the war started. I would add that a false flag is always a strong possibility.
