Qatar: the Triple Cross Elephant in Syria’s Room

Seldom discussed is Qatar’s role in destabilizing the world. Not only in West Asia, but worldwide. That’s because Qatar is a triple dealer — a duplicitous Bad Actor subverting and destroying on behalf of the dollars US paid to it.  Qatar’s regime is an autocracy in the pay of the west, where the ‘Arab street’ gives Qatar a pass by way of its support for Palestine, via Qatar’s news channel, al Jazeera.

There is no doubt that al Jazeera employs respected journalists who provide insight into Israel’s murderous exploits and blood-curdling operations – especially when an al Jazeera journalist is murdered by Israel. But that only provides cover for Qatar’s triple cross.

The point and key element relates to Qatar’s exports of liquid natural gas (LNG) to Europe. Qatar has likely perceived Russia as being an LNG competitor, so, subsequent to Russia’s SMO in the Ukraine, Qatar saw an opportunity to team with the US regarding the supply of LNG to Europe. That opportunity presented itself when the Europeans unwisely cooperated with the former United States, by significantly reducing Europe’s reliance on Russia’s natural gas supply to Europe’s people and industries.

The foregoing is just one reason that Qatar’s editorial line via al Jazeera constantly disparages Russia and the SMO, and portrays the US/Ukraine war versus Russia as being a noble effort. It’s a paradox where Qatar supports the Palestinian people’s right to self determination, while ignoring the same right with regard to the people of the Donbas since the US Maidan coup of 2014 in the Ukraine.

Lesser known publicly, but more importantly, is the ‘Muslim Brotherhood’ and financial relationship between Qatar and another notorious triple-cross dealer: Turkiye.  Turkiye, a large country in size but somewhat bereft of natural resources, relies on natural gas imports from Qatar with a pipeline from Qatar planned.

In brief, one end of the Pars gas field extends into Qatar, where the other side of the gas field is present in Iran, being one of the largest gas fields in the world, and of tremendous strategic  importance, as relatively ‘clean’ energy. With the ‘North Field’ extending into Qatar while the South field is located in Iran, LNG exports from this massive LNG field have long been in contention,  variously causing Qatar and Iran to either cooperate or battle over the control of these gas reserves and how they are exported; imminently impacting Qatar’s pipeline agreement with Turkiye.

Qatar planned a pipeline to Turkiye via Syria (to be completed by 2016), a gas pipeline that will further allow Turkey to export LNG to Europe, thus cutting Russia’s LNG out of the European deal. Although the Qatar – Turkiye gas pipeline has not been completed, it is one major bone of contention for wealthy US-backed Qatar versus Syria and Russia.

The solid links between Qatar and Turkiye versus Russia stem from Turkiye’s wish to transform itself from being ‘the sick man of NATO’ into a world power capable of playing off any one corrupt regime versus another, with Turkiye being at the center of its own corrupt empire. (Bye bye, Zelensky.)

Now, Turkiye wants the Qatar Pars field gas pipeline completed just as US-backed Qatar wants to export that Pars field gas, which puts both Turkiye and Qatar together in betraying Russia — and Syria. Turkiye’s support for takfiri terror in Syria was no doubt funded in part by Qatar, just as Turkiye made noise about Israel’s genocide in Gaza and invasion of Lebanon. The question being, why has US-backed Qatar /Turkiye supported the resurgence of takfiri terror in Syria now?

However the current developments in Syria may be viewed, there is a certain bottom line that Syria and Israel have been at war since 1948. Now, by 2025, a US game show host thoroughly in the pocket of Wall Street’s Zionist coup class is about to assume executive power, which is causing all sides to scramble for position on the scrimmage line. Noting the US-backed horror, destruction, murder, depravity, assassination, and corruption that ultimately and eminently represents the US Vile Empire, the game is on.

In this game we have Turkiye and US-backed Qatar as major players – not just Europe and the former United States/Israel itself. Meanwhile Saudi seems to have passed on the action, and is watching developments closely from the sidelines. Saudi no doubt senses the decline of the western hegemonic, how it is chaotic and imbalanced, and at its core… downright evil. Not even bone saw experts can compete with the abomination that the US/Israel have become, including its “allies” Turkiye and Qatar, who all back and fund takfiri terror whenever and wherever it suits them to do so.

Perhaps most disturbing of all is that Qatar is nearly a lone major champion of Palestinian’s right to self determination — and presumably survival — while funding and sponsoring takfiri terror,  and the destabilization of Syria in pursuit of pipeline gains, in league with Turkiye…and. And defacto with Israel. What other conclusion can there be? Greed for greed’s sake alone?

Or perhaps only Recep Tayyip Erdogan has the answer to this question?
