I have to disagree with you analyzis Of course the city it self is not important ,but it has different value. Lyman is the last obstacle before big crossroads furhter NA. On this crossroad you can travel practically in all directions. This war is more or less a battle for the big roads. In a town with very strange name that I cant spell, the Ukrainians would gain access to two main roads. P 66 in two direction and T1302 in two direction. Marvellous commentary! I find it inexpressibly sad, though, that Mr Mercouris so often has to refer to subjects of which he must not speak.
