This behavior of the US has been going on ever since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Trump simply made it blatantly obvious. Whether this was his intention or not remains to be seen. What better way to destroy the ‘deep state’ by giving them what they want, and destroying them in the process, by making it obvious to the rest of the world.
“Things can only get worse” (for the West) is the premise of my handle that has proven to be factual since the 2008 financial crash. The attitude among leaders (except a few) is absolute arrogance, and as they say, pride goeth before a fall.
