Thank you, Ron, for the history and character description of Stavridis. Yesterday I watched a ewe toob video made by Tales of the American Empire titled “The 17th Amendment Allowed Empire”. The narrator explained that the 1913 change in how US Senators are selected/elected consolidated power in the federal govt, and took power away from the states…which was the original design of the US Constitution to prevent tyrannical rule.
