My mother’s reaction to polls was: ‘they didn’t ask me’. They are just a waste of time and are obviously fixed anyway.

The west is out of weapons. Russia, China, Iran, North Korea have an endless supply. If the US is stupid enough to hit Iran, the whole Arab world will hit the US/Israel back. At that stage Turkey will take sides.
Turkiye has already taken sides, and it’s not the side if US/Israel.

Pakistan has placed Iran under its nuclear umbrella. If Israel uses nuclear weapons on Iran Pakistan has said it will nuke Israel.
So, the US has sent 4 Naval Battle Groups to the Middle East. A battle group is usually 1 aircraft carrier, 2 cruisers, at least two destroyers or frigates, and a carrier air wing of 65 to 70 aircraft and 7,500 troops. Apparently, 4 of those battle groups is nearly half of the whole US fleet. We don’t know about submarines. That is total overkill. It also makes these 4 battle groups very vulnerable. Russia (Kinzhal) and China (DF-21D) have unstoppable Hypersonic “carrier killers”, and now when UNSCR 2231 is ended it’s possible that Iran has them too.
