The Estonians encapsulate the modern world of today…We’re going to buy 25m jabs; we’re going to create smart cities; we’re going to restock our armies; we’re going to keep giving Ukraine billions…we don’t actually have the money to do these things but we’ll just create a massive debt, which our citizens (who didn’t vote for any of these things) and their children and grandchildren and so on, down the generations, will pay for. If Russia confirms this hit, it is another matter, but is it possible that this hit may have come from one of those loose Ukranian mines floating around the Black Sea.
Maybe the object the trigger-happy cowboys shot down was an extraterrestrial visitor responding in friendship to the greeting in 55 languages that the US sent into space to potentially welcome other beings. Uh-oh.
Well, no problem really because if any extraterrestrials were observing the USA’s/Nato’s abominable behaviour down here on Earth they would steer clear of us. As Bill Watterson said: “I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.”
