Elgin (hard G not J) removed the marbles in 1801 (222 years ago) and he was Ambassador to the Ottoman Empire at the time, which then ruled Greece. So the Turks gave him permission because they didn’t care. At the time they were using the Parthenon for target shooting and you can see bullet holes in the surviving marbles in the British Museum. Dear Alex, I did not appreciate your views on Musk and Netanyahu. From the get go you were just cynical and attributed bad motives to both. You should provide facts and then allow the listener to decide. I have been watching TheDuran for at least 8 years, mostly with deep appreciation. I thought you guys stayed above the fray, and kept to the moral high ground. But since 10/7 things have changed.
