Here is a snapshot of Obama’s current foreign policy…
- Provide full, unconditional support to a neo-nazi junta in Kiev that is right now ethnically cleaning Russian Orthodox civilians in the East Ukraine (over 458 civilian deaths, over 515,000 refugees).
- Avoid the ISIS debacle like the plague…as of right now Hillary Clinton’s botch plan to arm Al Qaeda forces in Syria (in the hope of defeating Assad), has resulted in American weaponry being used by ISIS to persecute Catholic Christians in the area.
As the world is diverted by the false flag Malaysian Airline accident over East Ukraine (where main stream media is working overtime to create the ‘Putin is evil’ hollywood narrative), The Islamic State, formerly ISIS, just finished burning the Syriac Catholic Diocese in Mosul to the ground, according to the Chaldean, Assyrian and Syriac website Ankawa4all.com and the Chaldean Catholic Patriarch Louis Sako.
This is not ISIS’s first attack on Catholicism, as earlier this month members of ISIS took sledge hammers to the tomb of the biblical prophet Jonah in Mosul.
Thousands of Christian Iraqis have fled Mosul and the outlying region after ISIS ordered them to either convert to Islam, pay a special tax or leave. The deadline for the order was this Saturday.
Al Arabiya reported on Sunday:
…many Christians evacuated the city on Friday and is not clear if any remained after the deadline.
“Christian families are on their way to Dohuk and Arbil” in the nearby autonomous region of Kurdistan. “For the first time in the history of Iraq, Mosul is now empty of Christians,” said the Patriarch Sako.
“When this goes on like this, Mosul soon will be emptied of Christians,” a source for the World Watch Monitor in Iraq said last month. “This could be the last migration of Christians from Mosul.”
Since the U.S. invaded Iraq in 2003 around half a million Christian Iraqis have fled the country. Radical Islamists have burned churches, destroyed monuments, killed clergymen and persecuted Christians.
Christianity has solid roots in Mosul which has long been one of Iraq’s principal Christian centers. Iraq is home to one of the oldest Christian communities in the world and the faith has existed in the Mosul area for nearly 2,000 years.
“Those clinging on in Iraq face forced conversion to Islam, torture, kidnap, the seizure of homes and property, rape and murder. An unknown number of churches and monasteries have been destroyed,” writes Penny Young, reporting for History Today.
