Also, no one is really thinking about fighting Russia; all this talk is mainly about making Ukrainians keep fighting. It’s also about making sure the whole of Ukraine won’t turn to Russia’s side. I wrote before Politico: ‘Putin does think about partitioning Ukraine.’ I wrote many times that Putin does not want the whole of Ukraine. First of all, Ukraine is too big for Putin to take it whole. I think if Putin decides to take the “Russian half” of Ukraine, he will be able to have enough political/military control over the “Ukrainian half” to satisfy Russian security concerns.
