This edition of “Useful Idiots” begins with a very articulate Lebanese journalist, Hala Jaber giving us a thorough update on the situation in Lebanon, where Hezbollah has resumed fighting against Israeli aggression. The Lebanese national army has done nothing after a fifteen months of a cease fire that only Hezbollah has observed. Still, the national army retains support of Lebanese people, whereas the President and the Prime Minister are both stooges of the West who would sell Lebanon out to Israel.
This is followed by an interview with Professor Sami al Arian, a Palestinian currently living in Turkey, on the question of what is the relationship between Israel and the US. Is Israel a strategic asset of the US or is it a strategic liability? Many in the Truman administration thought it would be a liability, but Zionist lobbyists in the Truman administration convinced Truman to recognize Israel. The influence of the Zionists on US policy has increased over the years, culminating with Trump, but the policies that Zionist influence have shaped over the years have often been against US strategic interests. This Iran war, instigated by Israel, is going to be a strategic disaster for the United States. It will have to withdraw its bases from the Gulf region. It will be a humiliating defeat that will discredit Trump and Israel. US public opinion is rapidly turning against Israel and Zionism. There is a danger here for Jewish people because of the Zionist claim to represent Jewish people as a whole, which makes it hard for less politically well-educated people to distinguish between Zionism and Judaism. Zionism makes people “anti-Semitic”, that is, it makes them hate Jews. That is why American Jews like Katie and Aaron and Max, along with real, non-Zionist rabbis, must go all out to make this distinction and to lead the anti-Zionist forces in the United States, which they are doing.

I am listening. and I like what you say. 🙂
Thank you very much zieo99. Never mind the -3 downvotes on your response. There are several trolls on this site. If you agree with me, I suggest you subscribe to Max and Aaron’s “The Grayzone” and Katie and Aaron’s “Useful Idiots” to get the best reporting and analysis on US-Israeli relations. There is also an anti-Zionist political organization, AZA-PAC, Anti-Zionist America Political Action Committee, trying to defeat Zionists in Congress and elect anti-Zionist candidates. .
