Thanks so much Alex and Alexander. We are very concerned for what is happening to Nogorno Karabakh. According to “Christians for Armenia – Reformed Faith and Life” the 2000 strong Russian military contingent stationed at the corridor is also doing nothing. If that is true then it is quite alarming. Is Russia also throwing the Armenian enclave under the bus?

The fact that 2,000 Russians stationed in the region are “doing nothing” does not mean that Russia is throwing Armenia under the bus. Russia is focused on defending itself against US aggression in Ukraine, which has high priority over the current skirmish in Armenia. In fact, the timing of the revival of that conflict in that region may have been intentional in order to distract Russia from its focus on Ukraine, and Russia no doubt has figured this out.
