Q: “When Prussia and Russia were in an alliance, the countries were doing well and Europe was doing well. If any forces in the world managed to have both countries in confrontation with each other, it was a disaster for both countries and for Europe.” [Otto von Bismarck]
Boris Johnson’s Lies Don’t Harm Him Because the UK’s Political System Is More Corrupt than He Is
For myself, a remarkable and honest analysis from Alexander and one that makes complete sense. Loved the thoroughly deserved jibe about Dominic Raab near the end 🙂
Not only is Albion “perfidious”, her prime minister is – according to the sunday times – broke.
I guess with this kind of haircut that’s what it takes to please Carrie Antoinette.
Albion is a nice old Gaulish or Celtic name meaning “white land” for the island of Great Britain. It’s not Albion but rather Westminster that is perfidious. The Romans explained the name Albion as referring to the white chalk cliffs at Dover. The Houses of Parliament are built on what used to be an island surrounded by the waters of the Thames. It often seems to me that they are still sitting on an island disconnected from the rest of the country.
Thanks for the post…fascinating
Isn’t that island between the Thames where the locals used to deposit their trash in bygone days?
Don’t know. Not sure how much trash they would have had apart from animal and fish bones and animal and human waste. It was an island in Roman times and that part of the river being fairly shallow due to a sand bar was where the Roman armies used to cross. The river now has embankments to confine it, but before it was wider and shallower, changed course at will, and there were many islands and areas of swamp. The swamp is only concentrated in Westminster now.
Lol and super Lol.
It’s sooooo true as well.
‘Woke and Broke’ has another hapless victim it seems 🙂
Thanks for an excellent programme, Alexander. While listening to you and hearing about what can only be described as duplicity on the part of Westminster, I could not help but think of that so-called “special relationship” that Westminster (NOT Britons!) have with the US. Drumming up anti-Russia business with EU countries while pretending to play nice with Russia is the kind of transparent silly intrigues that are the hallmark of Hollywood films. I think here of how the British navy sailed into the Black Sea on the heels of the US warships playing the game of follow-my-leader at the ready… Read more »
something I have suspected all along is finally confirmed: “EXPOSED: Facebook’s Independent COVID Fact-checker Site FactCheck.org Funded By $1.9 Billion Vaccine Lobby | GreatGameIndia Posted: 02 May 2021 09:00 PM PDT A so-called independent fact-checker website FactCheck.org is exposed to be funded by the same $1.9 billion vaccine lobby group that it is supposed to check. The site is a Facebook partner whose articles are used to censor critical voices on the social media platform. It is headed by the former CDC director, which is again a conflit of interest.” Now we know exactly why everyone who advocated Vitamins D3, C,… Read more »
Knowing the Brits, they probably made false overtures to Moscow with the intent to release a hopefully compromising dialogue to Germany to sow distrust. Or maybe just fake the whole thing.
After all, it’s what they do.
British diplomacy has always been duplicitous but in these ‘woke’ times having a degree in Climate Change or Sustainable Foods, does not really ‘cut the mustard’. :_)
Q: “The sun never sets on the British Empire, because God doesn’t trust the British in the dark.”
Probably an old Irish saying. Nobody knows them better.
Please don’t lump all the British people in with our political masters. Many of us ordinary Joe’s and Jill’s cannot stand the despicable acts done in our name. A great many of my compatriots are honest as the day is long and utterly trustworthy, it’s just at the moment especially we can not rid ourselves of the two party system and the equally dire wannabes. ❤️
Surely by now there has to be some information on the Scripals health and whereabouts. I mean the UKGovt and MSM certainly made masses of bad press against Russia. Where are they! and why is Assange still in prison it’s all illegal.
Allegedly, the Skripals have been moved to a “safe house” and given new identities. This depends on whether one believes these people exist, and the whole set up of “poisonings by the Russians” took place. I’m a “Skripal sceptic” – tending to think that the whole affair was a setup by the British secret services with the help of the CIA. I do not trust my government or the media outlets which ran the story. Call me a conspiracy theorist if you like, I don’t care.

“TG 333: G7 Foreign Ministers Meet in London, Plan a Nice Holiday in Cornwall”
For anyone who does not understand British politics, I must point out that the ministers and MP’s in the House of Commons, are only there as fall guys for the civil service. It is the civil service which makes up policy, and ensures the elected government carries it out. This was clearly demonstrated in the guise of comedy in the 1980’s by the series “Yes Minister” and “Yes, Prime Minister”. Those under 40 and from abroad, will not necessarily remember it or have seen repeat parts on PooTube. When British ‘governments’ act, it is rarely on behalf of the people… Read more »
