John Varoli: ‘President Nero’ Eager to Light the World on Fire

This latest crisis is very serious.

From my friend and colleague, John Varoli, a must-read which goes well in concert with my own take on it.

The Democrats won’t exit the White House peacefully. They’re ready to destroy the entire planet just to spite Trump and prevent a peace deal in Ukraine.

Yesterday afternoon, the New York Times broke news claiming that Biden gave permission to NATO’s proxies in Kiev to attack Russia with U.S. missiles that have a 190-mile range. These sources were anonymous, which is not surprising since the NYT is essentially a press office for the Democratic Party.

There’s no evidence that Biden allowed these attacks. The man is nearly incapacitated and currently wandering around the Amazon. Real power in the U.S. is in the hands of unelected, anonymous White House officials in cahoots with globalist oligarchs.

This ruling liberal elite is a sort of collective ‘Emperor Nero’, who supposedly burned Rome in order to weaken his political enemies. The globalists are trying to hang on to power and will gladly destroy the entire planet just to spite Donald Trump and sabotage his plans for a peace deal in Ukraine.

Allowing Kiev to launch American missiles is a de facto U.S. declaration of war against Russia, and it’s illegal, since only Congress can declare war. But such is life in liberal America, where national security issues can’t be freely debated; where censorship and other repressive measures have marginalized dissident voices, such as the brilliant scholars Jeffrey Sachs and John Mearsheimer.

Secretive and shady deals are the hallmark of corrupt U.S. politics, where nothing is transparent, where everything is up for sale, and where working as a political analyst is akin to trying to decipher inner circle intrigue in the Soviet Union. Anyone remember Sovietology? That’s now applicable to the U.S. Thank goodness that my higher education is in Soviet Studies (and U.S. foreign policy).

Few people in the American elite — from either side of the political spectrum — care for the nation. The interests of the Party machine and their oligarchs are paramount. Conservatives have built a personality cult around Donald Trump who is under the thumb of dorky billionaire oligarch Elon Musk; while liberals act like the demon-possessed in a bid to force their totalitarian ideology on the global community.

The White House’s de facto declaration of war against Russia gives the Kremlin the legal right to defend itself and to attack NATO military sites anywhere in the world. Will Moscow arm the Houthis in Yemen with advanced missiles? If it does, and a U.S. navy ship is sunk, then Washington will scream that “Russia is the aggressor” and would use such an incident to justify full-scale war. In short, this is going to end badly. There’s no off-ramp because the current White House wants a world war.

And perhaps this is the Democrats’ goal. The start of a Third World War could provide the opportunity to annul the presidential election results before January 20, and remain in power. Such a situation would be unprecedented, but the past four years show that anything is possible. For example, never ever did I expect that the U.S. would fiercely support a genocide in real-time and have no moral qualms.

Another reason we’re in this predicament is that Russia has a credibility problem. There’s no longer a ‘balance of fear’. The U.S. and its NATO allies constantly plow through Moscow’s red lines and then laugh as the Russians stand there in shock.

During the First Cold War, we were terrified of the Soviet Union, fearful that the slightest incident could lead to nuclear war. Hence, we confined hostilities to proxy wars in Third World countries and refrained from direct confrontation in Europe. There seemed to be an unwritten agreement between the superpowers about this.

Today, the U.S. ruling class openly supports the bombing of Russian cities and terrorist attacks. Moscow’s lack of a tough response only emboldens the West. When and will Moscow ever understand? NATO is a death cult, much like the Nazis, and it only understands brute force. The West can no longer be reasoned with.

Finally, the greatest irony this weekend is that the threat of nuclear Armageddon hangs over us just when Biden visits the Amazon in Brazil, boasting about his efforts to protect the rain forests and fight ‘climate change’.

Has it ever occurred to Biden and his handlers that war, in general, is by far the single leading source of pollution and carbon emissions, and that nuclear war can bring about the most permanent form of climate change…

The Russians have killed 500k+ Ukrainian soldiers and are making uninhabitable the Ukraine that’s left with the assault on electrificationc generation facilities.

If that’s standing around in shock I wonder what the results would be if the Russians actually got moving.

First time I have ever down voted a post on The Duran. “Elon Musk, dorky billionaire oligarch”. Someone must have scrambled your brain along with your eggs this morning.

Seraphim, Do NOT, for one second, take Moscow’s lack of a response as weakness. Putin is NOT crazy, and will NOT start a nuclear war, unless his people and country’s existence is threatened. Russia has always responded to threats and attacks asymetrically. Don’t be in a hurry to end humanity.

Re: “nuclear exchange is not a worthwhile transaction for one feeble old man’s brat fit.”

This is not that. This is a decision by Neocon Controllers. It would not go ahead without their approval. The Russians know that.

Don’t play into their game of blaming it on their pathetic front man.
