Sullivan is a fool. The Chinese did a pile driver on him just like they did on that idiot Blinken before. Fools at the helm can only result in the ship of state running aground and sinking.
The way that the US tries to pressure friends and allies such as China and Russia into double-crossing each other reveals a lot about its own behaviour. It has friends of convenience that it drops when they are no longer useful, and it expects others to be as duplicitous. They are probably quite bewildered when they run into China’s loyalty to Russia.
