Iran’s Big Bitcoin Mistake

Surprisingly, Iran’s government trusted the extant Bitcoin Bro nonsense that bitcoin is immune from the tentacles of the coup class; perhaps believing the likes of Max Keiser that the CIA / US federal government (in league with Israeli intel) has no back door into the bitcoin scam.

[I wrote in depth on the subject of covert services back door access to bitcoin some months ago, however no “alternative” media outlet would publish these facts:  CIA’s Bitcoin Heist (originally posted 4 SEP 2021)
See: https://novusconfidential.wordpress.com/2023/03/16/cias-bitcoin-heist-originally-posted-4-sep-2021/ ] [1]

Now, Iran is perhaps paying the price for trusting the Bitcoin Bros, although the most recent CIA/Unit 8200-inspired disturbances are of course being exaggerated by the western press.

Meanwhile, details about attacks on Iran’s economy during 2025 — as intersects it with bitcoin — may be read here:

Iran’s Crypto Economy in 2025: Declining Volumes, Rising Tensions, and Shifting Trust | TRM Blog

TRM Labs looks at Iran’s shifting crypto economy in 2025, including a 11% drop in inflows in the first half of the year.

The article mentions Iran’s Nobitex crypto exchange being hacked in June of 2025, by hacker group “Goneshke Darande”  with presently unknown consequence for Bank Sepah of Iran.

Allegedly a group of disgruntled Iranian dissidents, in fact “Goneshke Darande” is populated by ‘oh so smart’ pro-Israel hackers, sponsored by Unit 8200 with US covert service assistance.

In Iran, the “illegal” “mining” of bitcoin (it’s not really mining) is considered to be a major problem, leading to power black-outs based on energy grid outages, via electric consumption that the crypto devices need to run.

Again, a significant proportion of the western media propaganda about Iran being on the verge of popular front regime change and collapse, has been a recurring theme broadcast via the Zio-Evangelical western media (off and on) for the past forty-seven years. {Note that the US CIA coup versus the democratically elected government of Iran was successful in 1953 }

But support for Iran from the New Development Bank  (BRICs), strategic partnerships,  newly developed defense systems, and the actual solidarity of its people will prevent Iran from failing, as the US/Israel has intended for it to do, since the US-backed Shah was deposed.

Beside oil resources, Iran has tremendous natural reserves too – including gold and silver — but to some extent Iran lacks the infrastructure to fully develop them. Perhaps realization will dawn on the Islamic Republic’s leadership that Iran’s precious metal reserves – not bitcoin – represent the silver bullet that will finally eliminate the western vampire.  And that those resources may be exploited to benefit Iran and its people, to finally prevent Iran from succumbing to regime change goals and failed state doctrine that the Great Satan has promoted throughout the world, since the end of the second world war..

ALL ‘crypto currency’ is FAKE. Cash, or physical gold and/or silver bullion. Cash might be fiat currency, but can be traded and used, stored or exchanged. ‘Crypto’ disappears with the touch of a few keys.
