Is it just me or is Crooke a bit of a bloviating idiot. Perhaps I have been spoiled by comparing foreign policy wonks to Lavrov and Zakharova, among the last serving diplomats on the planet. I felt a bit like the second last drunk in the bar and Crooke would not let me go for fear of loneliness.
