Trump continues to make noise about ridiculous ideas and do stupid things just to keep EPSTEIN off of the News Radar.

If you take a look at Greenland on a Globe, or on Google Earth, you will notice it is in a geopolitical region of significant importance, as northern Greenland is only about 2000 km (1250 miles) from mainland Russia, and Greenland is rich in natural resources, including the exploration rights to drill for oil & gas, and a dual claim to the Arctic circle, as the US has already got Alaska.
The Northern Sea Route (NSR) is a crucial shipping corridor along Russia’s Arctic coastline, and if the Americans take over Greenland, they will have their own Arctic Sea Route with Canada, from Alaska, northern Canada and over to Greenland.
The term defence spending is a PR euphemism , it’s military spending. Nothing more, nothing less.
I recently heard a clip from the native people of Greenland, the Inuits. There about 50,000 of them living their traditional way of life, hunting and fishing. I would say that Greenland actually belongs to them, like America also once belonged to its native inhabitants until the European colonists got there.
Your understanding of Canada sounds to me like you are from Mars. Canada is a country that has been heavily conditioned to believe impractical liberal delusions. How unusual! For example, Canadians firmly believe that one can get rich by selling houses back and forth to each other, pumping up the price and the aggregate mortgage debt load is greater than national GDP.
