Give War a Chance?

Ray McGovern: “The high irony here [in event of war with Iran] is that if you want a Palestine from river to the sea, that would do it. Israel would be left burning in ashes and the way would be open for a just solution for the Palestinians.” No good person wants a war, but in this case, hasn’t Iran given peace a chance enough times? That is what Putin did for ten years in Ukraine, but finally he was forced to go to war to protect his country. Isn’t Iran there now? Maybe it’s time to give war a chance, as Vicki Nuland and the folks from the Institute for the Study of War used to joke. Iran is locked and loaded. The only reason why Trump might still do it is to distract people from the Epstein files and many other areas of failure, foreign and domestic. It would be a “Wag the Dog” type of operation. That was a great movie, but there it was only necessary to declare war on Albania. War with Iran would not work out quite so well. Ray describes this possibility, with or without an Israeli false flag, as the “loaded gun” in this situation.
