Germany without Russian gas is deindustrialized. A deindustrialized Germany is an economic midget. Their debt ratio may not be bad now, but going forward they have no way to revitalize their economy. They are starting to realize they screwed up and now they have sacrificed their future. They are also probably realizing that their allies are really their enemies….. What Germany needs to do is to start getting friendly with China.
