I very much appreciate your taking the trouble to show us so much of modern Moscow’s beauty, today’s walk through the new Park was specially interesting, with its interesting lay-out, and distant views of the famous buildings round Red Square. And so many tourists! In our ignorance, we still somehow imagine Moscow as a drab city with a few semi-barbaric examples of weird architecture. It’s really illuminating to get these intimate close-ups of St. Basil’s, the Bolshoi, the Kremlin with it’s striking new planting of trees (!) and the lovely use of Birch Trees everywhere.
