If I was Putin I would nuke the UK and the rest of Europe off the map.
No need for such drastic measures. Once the US and Russia come to an agreement, the rest of the pieces of the puzzle will fall into place by themselves. The UK and the rest of Europe will not declare war on a united Russia and America.

The American public will not abandon Trump over the economy. It will abandon him if he doesnt end this war and avoid starting any others. There is nothing in Trump’s base that is more uniting than avoiding war with Russia, which is seen as literally insane. Trump needs to shove back hard on the neocons and let the chips fall where they may. If they remove or neuter him to keep Ukr bubbling there’s no point to anything else he’s doing.

I suspect this may be a good cop bad cop type of negotiation ploy, in which allies/neocons insist on fighting more, while Trump/Witkoff want piece. Trump is saying, “comeon man, throw me bone.” There could reality to this also, bc those idiot neocons have a lot of power in Congress and in DOD.
