Wow! Alex & Alexander, you are two of the most insightful people I follow, but this video takes us to a whole new level. You are correct that Fanaticism is the rocket fuel propelling the World’s crazy train. Where did this fanaticism come from? My answer is hate is the prime ingredient. Other ingredients include media, education, institutions etc that preach hatred. Hatred of what? Russia, Putin, Trump, China, Conservatives, opposing viewpoints, and ourselves. We are the products of the hate filled propaganda mill bearing down on us for decades to the point where many of us can no longer… Read more »
I think that the fanaticism also comes from jealousy that Russia is self-sufficient and is doing so well and that sanctions have enabled its economy to grow, and greed that it has all these mineral resources that the West covets and genuinely believes should belong to it.
It’s strange. Adolf Hitler, with hardly any education except what he picked up for himself, understood thoroughly that Germany’s military potential depended utterly on its economic strength. The Stalingrad debacle began as a consequence of Hitler’s determination to get hold of the Caucasus oil fields.
But 21st century Germany understands far less than Hitler did 90 years ago.
I wonder if the people in Europe are begining to understand why it was stupid for them to allow their leaders to dissarm them?
I would argue that this is precisely why EU leaders don’t believe in their own propaganda. They hate Ukrainians as much as Russians, and intended to get rid of as many as the could, by provoking them against each other. They know that Russia with not move further west than Ukraine, and therefore do not need to hang on to their current weapons
I would also agree with your assessment.
If this fanaticism persists, and if we are indeed seeing a situation like that of Germany in 1945, then all we need to hear now is a repeat of the infamous “I will not shed a tear for any of you” speech by the current leader of Ukraïne
What is the matter with these Europeans? Brain dead? Genuflecting to America too much?
