The EU wants to bring Poland under its total control because they (and NATO) want to use it as a shooting ground for their war with russia. It’s as simple as that. As president Putin said at the Valdai conference, NATO is currently stuffing ukraine, poland and the baltics with offensive weapons, in ukraine under the guise of “training missions”. You are spot on, except that I suspect the Russians have known for years what the crazies in Brussels and Washington are up to. Doesn’t hurt, though, to confirm that not only nothing has changed, but it’s heating up.

And I still am of the opinion that the EU is a BIG mistake – member nations surrendered much too much sovereignty. A “European Commonwealth” – styled after the British Commonwealth would make more sense and cause much less tensions.
You make a good point. It would help if you spelled out early on what rights Denmark has which Poland hasn’t.
The Danish reservations
Since 1994, Denmark has had four EU reservations. This means that Denmark is outside European cooperation on defense, the euro and parts of the EU’s legal policy.
