European gas prices hit a new record high on Tuesday after a pipeline that brings Russian gas to Germany switched to flow east, a move the Kremlin said had no political implications, while two big German customers said Gazprom was meeting supply obligations.

“Russia hopes Nord Stream 2 certification will be completed by mid-2022.The launch of the gas pipeline could help reduce gas prices for European consumers, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak noted.”
Well those are sweet dreams! Dream on! As long as Europe is in the claws of the neo-colonialist USA, the Nord Stream 2 gas line will never be certified and completed.
