I love the way Mr Trump summons national leaders as if they were so many dogs: “C’mon, come here!”
And then dismisses them by turning away.
Please, just as an existential exercise, try to imagine Mr Trump summoning Mr Putin that way!
I know I’m getting old but I don’t actually remember the 8 wars that Trump ended?!!? Then he said in his Knesset speech that he was happy his daughter converted to Judaism, he praised Miriam Adelson for her money, Meloni for her beauty, seemed to arm wrestle Macron, belittled Kier Starmer… the oddities were never ending. Like all reasonable people, I would love to see peace in the Middle East, but the much-vaunted peace deal has hardly started. I can’t see Hamas laying down their arms and they would be very unwise to do so. Not sure if it was in Gaza or Lebanon that the Israelis killed several people only yesterday. So all the hostages have been returned, but we never, just never, hear about the Palestinians in Israeli jails, many of whom have been there for years and haven’t even been tried for anything.
