Thank you, Naomi Wolf, for this brilliant piece. It confirms everything I have feared for a long time. If this draconian mandate is forced on me (and under California’s Gov Newsom it is more likely than not that it will be), I am prepared to hitchhike to the border and swim across the polluted Rio Grand to escape and flee this US tyranny. Why would I give a flying fig what Captain [[Wolf]] Obvious has to say? I wasted no time watching or reading her drivel. We are again being give our ‘hero/heroine’.. A day late and one dollar short as per usual.

Don’t you like the Duran and its choice of speakers/writers? Then why are you reading the Duran? Or do you misjudge this particular one for some reason you are not willing or able to share? It is very good to see what Wolf is now saying. One small problem is that she wants to cling to the idea that this is not a radical left-wing totalitarian movement. Calling something ‘fascist’ conjures up an image of a right-wing movement. She talks about right and left as if they are equally ‘guilty’. That is not the case. If she wants to stick to archaic terminology, ‘Bolshevik’ would be much more appropriate.
Your mistake, K9, is that you are getting caught up in semantics, in terms that have changed meaning over time to such a degree that they have become meaningless. If you were to focus on the essence of what she is saying, the idea, instead of words that mean different things to different people, you might understand her very clearly stated and very important message.
No, he’s quite right to make this comment. I believe he is alluding to the Left/Right paradigm as in this case actually damaging to the exposition of a bigger, better organised and far greater enemy.
