The Kremlin has no information whether Minsk sent official requests through diplomatic channels for help in fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

“I do not know if such appeals were sent through diplomatic channels,” Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov told reporters Wednesday, commenting on Kommersant newspaper’s report that Belarus allegedly contacted Russia, asking for help.

The Kremlin spokesman recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin proceeds from an understanding that all countries are now “in the same boat.”

“This is a common challenge for us all, and it is impossible to fight this virus without cooperation, combined effort, partnership and mutual help and aid,” he added. “This concerns all countries in the world and in the case of our brotherly Belarus, this is a unique situation.”

The US might be doing 100,000 tests a day now, but it took a VERY long time for Washington to start taking the pandemic seriously. It had only 15 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the middle of February and now it has over 216,300 confirmed cases with about 5,200 deaths so far today. There have been 2,219 deaths reported in NYC alone, and the US is running out of protective gear for hospitals. US overseas military bases reportedly have over 1,000 confirmed cases, and the navy is reporting outbreaks on its warships and aircraft carriers. An army intelligence officer tweeted, “Today,… Read more »

The US has the added problem of having to cover up the fact that hey staged a bio-warfare attack on China and almost certainly, on Iran.
Any first world country knows that this is likely the case, but no one is allowed to talk about it.
We can now add to the stated US foreign policy of: “We lied, we cheated, we stole…”
“…we attacked a Nuclear power unprovoked with Bio-Warfare FtDetrich/CDCoronaVirus.”

China and Iran now have every right to retaliate in a way and at a time of their own choosing. All adults know this.

Is the “lockdown” actually justified or just a panic induced measure without real benefit? Some real experts that have a factually based different opinion – because the opinions by other contrarian experts supporting the lockdown are definitely NOT based on facts..because the facts are not even established yet. To establish harsh measures without actually knowing all the facts and making decision based on less than incomplete knowledge that drive the economy into a tank, likely bankrupting a lot of small enterprises and affecting likely negatively the health much more than the virus could by causing long term unemployment – That… Read more »

I find the figures for the numbers of people tested, confirmed cases and deaths in each country to be quite misleading because they don’t include comparisons between the populations of countries. Trump is currently lying again and telling people that “the US is doing more testing than any other country”. What a load of hogwash! 100,000 tests a day is “doing more” when the number of confirmed cases was allowed through Trump’s denials of the problem and Washington’s inaction to increase from 15 in mid-February to 216,300 today? When you control for population, the US response does not compare well.… Read more »

Smoking Eagle,

I’ve been wondering for some time if the US of Aggression would have been so kind as China and Russia by imitating them in offering medical supplies and help to those two countries, considered as enemies most of the time if not always by the US of A…

I heard China is sending tainted kits around the world. I dont trust the Chinese or the US. There is a massive lye going on in the deep state. Somebody knows the truth and I think it is Bill Gates. Follow the money.

Personal wealth, he property we own above what is needed for a comfortable life,
how can we in clear conscience continue to hoard it when the lower-half of society sufferers want?

“we own above what is needed for a comfortable life” the question is: who determines what a comfortable life is for each individual?
Bill Gates needs apparently as many other Billionaires a multimillion$ villa to feel comfortable. So I guess he does live within the boundaries of “comfortable”?

I’m using Ever clear for my hand sanitizer and take a hit from the vapors. WOW !!! It does not take much…or maybe I’m just not used to alcohol. The ethyl alcohol helps breaks the virus outer protection. Do it in moderation….really.

Hey Vlad…how about top shelf vodka instead of ventilators?
