As far as several people contracting Covid19 who were attending a funeral where nobody was symptomatic is concerned; one need not catch Covid19 from an infected person directly. The virus can remain infective for days on surfaces. Perhaps the attendees ate biscuits from a baker,heavily infected, who had coughed on her hands just before wrapping them.
