China soon intends to occupy Taiwan similar to the Crimea annexation scenario

Considering the current geopolitical situation in Asia and the fact that Russia, weakened by Western sanctions, is only nominally a superpower, China will most likely occupy Taiwan in the following years. This is evidenced by the fact that during the last 15 years Beijing has been stepping up its attempts to replace US military might in Asia.

The democratic Taiwan is under a constant threat of being invaded by the authoritarian China, whose leaders see the island as a Chinese province that must inevitably return to China’s hands.

Western intelligence service and think tank analysts have numerous times expressed their worries about the increasing ambitions of China’s Communist regime to occupy the democratic human rights haven and assume the leading position in China’s “new world” by 2050.

To achieve this, it’s clear that Taiwan will be seized by then. China has already indirectly threatened to do so using its propaganda machine. The threat is clear – Taiwan can become a part of China any given moment. It’s no secret that China has had a good teacher in this regard, i.e. Putin’s Russia who showed via the examples of Georgia and Crimea that in the modern world it’s still possible to occupy sovereign states and what consequences can the aggressor country expect in such a case. However, China is on an entirely different power level than the corrupt Kremlin regime.

Taiwan and continental China have been governed separately since 1949 when the nationalist government of the Republic of China, defeated in the civil war, fled to the island, leaving the communist-seized continental part of China to become the People’s Republic of China. Beijing considers Taiwan a part of its territory. Washington recognized the Republic of China until 1979, when it decided to recognize the People’s Republic of China but still remained one of Taiwan’s closest unofficial allies and military supporters. But now it seems that the time of the US in Taiwan will soon come to an end.

Taiwan’s de facto ambassador to the US was officially invited to the inauguration of the newly elected US President Joe Biden, which has not happened since 1979. Back then, the US Department of State stressed the commitment of the US to ensure Taiwan’s safety. I believe this time the US has decided to speak up much too late, as China has already begun the process of occupying Taiwan. In two or three years, we might see the active phase of this operation which will most likely lead to Beijing holding a falsified referendum in Taiwan.

Education of author of article begins here: Crimea was not annexed. It seceded after a Western backed coup in Ukraine trashed the Ukraine constitution, leaving the Crimeans free to choose there own destiny. The regions surrounding Georgia of Abkhazia and South Ossetia were autonomous regions as part of the Georgian Soviet of USSR. Once USSR dissolved in 1991 and Georgia no longer recognised their autonomy and sought to make them part of an independent Georgia, war broke out and they have enjoyed an independent existence since. They were NEVER any part of an independent Georgia. Taiwan is already part of China.… Read more »

Taiwan is now a independent country, with all the structures a nation needs to have! No one want’s to go back to the dictatorship of a CCP! Taiwan should be accepted in the UN since long! It is the cowardness of the Europeans and the USA which prevents this!

Repeat, Taiwan has never been an independent country, has ALWAYS been a part of China, and if China has anything to do with it, always will be Chinese. B.T.W. IF, as you claim, Taiwan is INDEPENDENT, why does it need the U.S. to wipe it’s back side ? INDEPENDENT means support it’self in all manner including defence. As the RELY 100% on the Americans, there’s no way anyone can say they are independent. L.O.L.

Being independent and having degrees of support from other countries is common in the world today. Look at Australia, Japan…actually ANYWHERE. It’s called interdependence. Your definition of independence is false.
Taiwan became a sovereign nation following a civil war and will remain so, if unofficially, because other countries have been strongarmed into denying it sivereign status. It’s a question of legitimacy.
So sure, you could argue it’s part of China conceptually, but being ‘Peoples Republic of China’ and being ‘Chinese’ is a different thing.

This would mean war! The people of crimea had the opportunity to vote if they want to ramain to the Ukraine or go back to Russia! The CCP would never allow this in Taiwan, since the result would be more than clear! Fuck off – China! Taiwan is an indepencdet Nation now!

Diplomacy, remember that? Apparently you are more than eager to see China plunged into war, the consequences of which are impossible to predict. With the statements coming from the US military, such as those of Admiral Davidson, the US provocations surrounding Taiwan, as well as Hong Kong, we could well be staring into the face of WWlll. The Alaska meeting of US and Chinese representative will tell us more about whether the Biden administration intends to follow a path of confrontation or diplomacy. .

Taiwan is a Mountainous Country and is not amenable to an Amphibious Invasion because it would be highly vulnerable to standoff weapons firing down on it from above. The Pentagon War Gamed this a long time ago. China is not going to attack US forces, US Forces will stage a First Strike Nuclear attack but the Russian S-500 A2/AD system will knock it out. In 10 years the S-600 System will be the primary Russia/China/Iran A2/AD System. It can destroy Satellites, incoming ICBMs, Russia and China’s Hypersonic Missiles will destroy every AC Carrier Battle Group and that will be the End… Read more »

Sooner the better. Taiwan is a puppet of the US empire and now has disgusting ‘gay marriage’ because its elites are ideological and idolatrous puppets of the Jewish-run globo-homo empire that is the US. Don’t fall for the BS about Taiwan being a ‘democracy’. In the current year, ‘democracy’ means that a nation’s elites are mostly a bunch of puppets of Jewish hegemonists. Given US dominance around the world, any democratic system is vulnerable to US penetration and subversion. Thus, there is almost no homegrown democracy anywhere in the world. All these ‘democratic’ regimes are nothing but paid-for whores of… Read more »

Baloney.
Taiwan has been a part of China forever; just as Crimea has been a part of Russia… no aggression, no ‘annexation’ just a restoration of Historical Reality… in particular the Crimean referendum had well over 90% of Crimeans voting to re-join their Motherland. Maybe the Taiwanese will do the same… as it becomes clear which side Taiwanese bread is buttered; prosper with China, or collapse along with the Empire…

Looks like our friends here haven’t as much as look at the Chinese media, by which I also mean the Taiwanese media. They both habla the same language, you know. A recent street survey in Taiwan asked what would the man in the street do if Chinese soldiers suddenly appear. One of the earliest respondent, a woman, said “shout ‘Long live the Motherland!'” Many of those in the Taiwanese national service have already saidthey won’t fightthe mainlanders, there’s a ban on the potential cannon-fodder from going abroad. There’s strong opinion the two sides shouldn’t fight, and that the US will not… Read more »
