A military response seems a bit much at this stage, recognizing that we don’t know a LOT of stuff. She is travelling in a private capacity. She does not represent anybody except the voters in her California congressional district (and probably not even all of them!). This is a private trip, not official. The Chinese ought to treat her exactly as they would treat ME if I were travelling in China as a PRIVATGE CITIZEN and did something stupid enough to get myself tossed into a Chinese jail. OK, this is NOT “the most tension between” China and the US ever. A foolish remark. US and Chinese soldiers went to war against each other in Korea in the 1950s. That was considerably more “tense” than what is happening now. Don’t carry on as though you were a game-show host.
The speaker in the video needs to PREPARE himself before saying things like Taiwan is “preparing for an invasion of China.” (between 4:05 and 4:10)
Hard to take this guy seriously.
Between 6:50 and 7:00, the speaker says that there is “no question” that Russia and China have become “BFFs.”
But in international relations, there are NO BFFs. There are only national interests. That is all.
This is not a serious speaker.

it is my belief that the ‘five eyes’ do not recognise Taiwan as a sovereign country? So why is the USA sticking its nose in.. other than wanting to rule the world!!
