What few people seem to realize is that an attack against Venezuela will be interpreted by the people of South and Middle America as an attack of the Gringos against the Latinos. There is already a great deal of animosity against the Gringos among Latinos, and the fact is that Latinos make up such a large percentage of the populations of States like California, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and have a substantial presence in all States in which agriculture is a major industry.
