MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. Russia and China are jointly developing high-tech weapons as they cooperate in the security area, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday. “We cooperate [with China] in the security area,” he said during his annual news conference. “China’s armed forces are equipped with the most advanced weapons systems to a large extent.”

It’s about time that Putin has run out of patience.

If the leaders of practically every country in the world ran out of patience with the “grifters, grafters and mobsters” in their governments and dismissed them, their ministries would be pretty empty and there wouldn’t be many politicians left standing.

The China-Russia cooperation on armament was one aspect of the yearly press conference that the current president gives at the end of each year. It was noted that fewer questions were asked as at the press conferences before. The journalists wee handpicked, mostly followers and friendly press, with a few “foreign agent” labeled press inbetween. However, they were not allowed to ask any questions. It seems that the majority of Russian people do not agree with the opinions of this “dissident” journalist. Support for the President is still 65%, while the opinions of Pavlovsky are consigned to sensationalist liberal media outfits like Dorzhd.
The “support for the president of 65 percent” was stated by the Russian Levada Centre, which has also been named a “foreign agent”, just like Dozhd. So, if we believe the results of opinion polls made by Levada, we might as well believe the reports from Dozhd.
Levada Center on its website “About us” informs;
“In 2016, the Russian Ministry of Justice placed the Levada Center on the register of NGOs performing the functions of foreign agents. The center disagrees with this decision and trys to challenge it in court.”
Obviously to no avail, since it is still on the foreign agent list.
