‘Affront to basic rights’: US officials wade into row surrounding Belarusian Olympic sprinter Timanovskaya as IOC demands answers
US officials have waded into the row surrounding Belarusian sprinter Kristina Timanovskaya, accusing Minsk of disregarding “basic rights”, while the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has launched a formal investigation.

US = one screwed up country full of hypocrisy, laughing stock of the world when they talk about human rights
The trick in Washington is to abuse human rights at home and abroad by proxy and try to stay under the radar.
Yep, just Yemen alone with the Saudi’s have killed over 85,000 children in Yemen, not counting the endless casualties of the Yemen people! And they are using drones to drop white phosphorus on them too, and they are still losing to the Houthi’s despite that. The US sent an envoy to Saudi Arabia about a day or two ago, to disceuss an oil rich province within the country. Nothing about how to finally stop the war, congress just approved the continuation of Yemen just recently within the week.
The dirty tricks squad is hard at work now targeting Iran. Nothing left to the imagination. Any day now, we’ll see an anthrax drone with Persian script.
I would of thought after the bloody war in Ukraine, these numb nuts would of had enough, and maybe this Belarus athlete girl perhaps wants to live a more free life, but would she want her family dead in a ugly civil conflict to have this liberal democracy in her country???, because foreign interference and regime change hasn’t really worked out so well in the past 20 years, has it??, the only thing it has left is alot of dead people, also I’m sick of msm constantly banging on about what a horrible regime Belarus is, with No recall of… Read more »
They make it out to be some sort of North Korea. It’s hardly that but we know the game, destabilize and conquer. They can’t conquer by military means so they have to keep chipping away with whatever’s at hand. Lukashenko, if I remember correctly, invited the OSCE in to monitor the election but they refused. Anybody that runs to Kiev’s umbrella belongs in an asylum for the criminally insane.

Yeah, they just banned Niko house on youtube the other week. And he was a good channel but at least he’s on Rockfin. They pay better than the YT fascists do anyways. We all need to build that channel up too. The more platforms the better.
I just finished watching ‘The Magnitsky Act: Behind the Scenes’ for the first time, the one that Browder quashed, as he’s so good at. A must see, but you have to watch it to the end. It’ll blow your mind.

They don’t have democracy or free speech. They have electoral systems they call democratic and they have free speech only if it tows the official policy of the regimes.
You know, the US tried to overthrow Lukashenko’s government by coup about a month ago and it got foiled by the Russian troops in the country. I’m glad they stopped it and i’m from the US.
Lukashenko’s a PITA but turning the country into another Ukrainian-style puppet regime would be far worse. The US doesn’t care though. It feeds on civil strife.
