Götterdämmerung?
I don’t believe Jarno has the ability to “decipher” your comment Pen, as per his schoolboy approach to everything else, keeping in mind that I kind of like him though. 😀
The top-notch JPG’s posted by Jarno P, are one of the few reasons why I come to the Duran website. The only other reason why I come to the Duran is for Alex Christoforou and Alexander Mercouris excellent analysis of current affairs.
I wasn’t commenting on the jpg’s. Even a kind hearted half-wit can find and post those and I do appreciate them from time to time. I also come to the Duran for the Alexs, and the occasional Zuesse. I see some new up-and-comers who could use our support too. Cheers.
“I also come to the Duran for the Alexs, and the occasional Zuesse”
Eric Zuesse is a Trotskyite ideologue. The only other educational and academic articles worth reading on the Duran, come from Dr. Vladislav B. Sotirovic, although I have been quite critical of some of the passages in his articles in the past, his essays are always food for thought.
Zuesse appears to be a historical and geopolitical analyst from what I’ve seen. Feel free to point out any discrepancies, ideological posturing, etc. in his work and I’ll see the comments on the specific article. I’m not a fan of disregarding someone because someone called them a bad name. Cheers.
Check the comments section on his previous articles.
American pride LOL
Way to go alex

Alex, I admire and appreciate what you do and say, but do you have a condition that prevents you from addressing/ looking at me (ie, your camera lens) even occasionally?
Picky, I know.
Not picky, just silly. DV mine.
If it is true that the UK is supposed to provide Ukraine with F 16s, that may come as a surprise to the RAF as, apparently, we don’t have any. We have about 30 F35s, the rest are Typhoons and Lightnings. But, hey, it probably doesn’t matter, as, whatever they are, they won’t be airborne for long, I’m sure. And they will probably have to take off from Poland in order to have a decent runway. Anyway, no matter how long they train them, the Ukrainian pilots will never match the ability of the Russian pilots in their Su-57s.
I’m not worried. If the west really cared, they’d be getting better stuff from day one.
The world swirls faster and faster down the drain, we need to find this plug for this blasted drain. Possibly Putin has it?
Putin’s/Xi’s multi-polar order will at least be a stop-gap for the time being. It’ll act as a check against US imperial ambitions and bring back some balance that was lost when the USSR fell.
Zaluzhny is dead.
Thank you, Alex, for your program today! On the issue of training Ukraïnian pilots on the F-16 for future deployment over the skies of Ukraïne, is it possible that the US might eventually invoke the help of the American Volunteer Group (AVG), also known as the Flying Tigers, in order to fly alongside Ukraïnian pilots against Russian fighter planes in Europe? As I recall, the AVG had been created originally in the 1930’s in order to help China fight against Japanese invaders, prior to the official entry of the US in the war in the Pacific. At that time, I… Read more »
The only Air superiority fighters in the United States arsenal are the twin-engine F-15 Eagle and twin-engine F-22 Raptor, but they are no match in a dogfight with either a Sukhoi Su-57 and especially against a Sukhoi Su-37 Terminator, and the “American Volunteer Group (AVG), also known as the Flying Tigers” will not change that fact.
The United States simply has not got any aircraft that is a match for the supermaneuverability of the Sukhoi Su-37 Terminator and Sukhoi Su-57.
The current twin-engine supermaneuverable Russian built, Ukrainian Sukhoi Su-27’s are far superior to the single engine F-16 Falcon, which first flew in 1974 (49 years ago!)
Even a Ukrainian pilot that flew the Sukhoi Su-27 and the F-16 Falcon, Ukrainian Air Force pilot Lieutenant Colonel Fischer Dmitry Vilhelmovich said “The F-16’s performance is much lower than the Su-27”.
If an F-16 Falcon comes up against a modern day Russian Sukhoi Su-57 or Sukhoi Su-37 Terminator, the F-16 pilot better pray his ejector seat is working just fine!
Russia is not in tatters, the EU, Britain and the USA is!
Sunak is a puppet for sure!

Jake Sullivan & Joe Biden: “Irish Logic”.
Jake Sullivan: “Supplying weapons to Ukraine to prevent World War III”
This is the Irish Administration in Action – Biden & Sullivan.
“Escalating a conflict in Ukraine is the way to avoid World War III”
Alex – that is Irish Logic in action.
To see how this works out – witness the history of the island of Ireland over the last 1,000 years.
“This is the Irish Administration in Action – Biden & Sullivan.” You are a false witness Julian! Sullivan was born in Burlington, Vermont to a family of Jewish descent and grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jacob Jeremiah Sullivan is his real name and his forenames are certainly not Irish. Jacob Jeremiah was groomed from young age for his political positions for his Jewish loyalty, and Jacob Jeremiah was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, Freemasons lodge in his senior year at Yale University and he later became an ‘Adviser’ to the demonic Hillary Clinton and the globalist later worked in the… Read more »
I think the trees are to mark natural burial sites, the carbon-neutral type of burials, where the corpses of the G7 “leaders” will be buried when they’ve passed over to the other side.
“Existential” , the current designation of how eu/nato view this war is worth some contemplation. Russia has also called the war “existential”. Are the leaderships of both sides now really prepared to invest themselves, and the societies they represent, into this war commensurate with a ‘do or die’ endeavor? I do not even want to be involved in this war and am in no way willing to to commit existentially. If the nato leadership wants to involve me perhaps it is high time to seriously and clearly inform them of my displeasure. Is it time to start marching in the… Read more »
