Bombing Syria? Isn’t that what the USA normally does to free, independent, democratic countries? It’s a rite of passage.
The many reasons/excuses/alibis/rationalizations why Syria fell will rain down on us for some time. However, while president Assad undoubtedly made grievous mistakes, the least credible excuses emanate from Tehran. Especially, the meme that Assad’s refusal to engage with Erdogan gives the game away. Erdogan is a devious swine who does nothing but lie and back-stab. There is nothing to be gained talking to an arrogant enemy who repeatedly stabs people in the back — as Putin especially should know — who deploys terror gangs in your land, then invades to protect them with his Army.
